The Challenge
One Call Claims Limited needed to replace their existing UPS protecting business-critical IT systems at their Doncaster headquarters, including the removal and disposal of the old system. For a financial services operation handling high volumes of claims, IT continuity is essential — any unplanned downtime directly impacts customer service and business operations. Ongoing maintenance coverage with rapid response was also required.
Our Solution
A Riello Sentryum S3M 20kVA Xtend single-phase UPS with three internal battery strings providing 18 minutes at full load was supplied and installed, including removal and disposal of the existing system. An RB1 125A single-phase maintenance bypass switch and NetMan 208 SNMP card completed the package. A 3-year Platinum Lite maintenance contract — providing 4-hour 365/24/7 response, one annual preventative maintenance visit, all parts and labour under warranty, firmware upgrades and 24-hour helpline — was included.
The Outcome
Business-critical IT protected with 18 minutes of clean battery autonomy, a maintenance bypass for safe servicing, full SNMP monitoring, and three years of guaranteed 4-hour emergency response — appropriate for a financial services environment.
